Officials today announced the 2009 Shell Houston Open PGA TOUR tournament  in conjunction with the Houston Golf Association's other golf-related activities have generated a total of $2,124,000 to impact local youth-oriented charities.   The donation boosts the Houston Golf Association charitable contribution total to more than $53.7 million since 1974.
