Just wante to share this with ya'll.i didnt know,maybe you already knew.but in a college tournament,on August 19,1962.Homero Blancas,shot a 55.at the Premier Oil invitational in Longview,The golf course was only 5,002 yards.Homero Blancas,,was in Sport Illustrated,appeared in Ripleys Belive it or Not,and was in the Guinness book of world records.for a while too.but was taken out because the course was too short.can you belive that,shot a 55,if you like to read more you can read it in the March Houston Links Magazine.

That's quite a feat. Most people are lucky to break 70 much less 56. Hard to shoot 55 on a par 3 course.

the course was still probably a par 67 or 69. he's still a 12 or 14 under. very impressive regardless of length. course rating probably around a 64, still puts him around a 9 or 10 under what a scratch golfer would average out there.
